Privacy Policy

1.Who this covers

This Privacy Policy explains how JAGS Systems LLC (“JAGS Systems,” “we,” or “I”), a Texas limited liability company based in San Antonio, handles information collected through jagssystems.com (the “Site”). It applies to anyone who visits the Site or contacts us through it.

It does not cover the work we do for clients. When JAGS Systems builds a website, administers Microsoft 365, works inside a NetSuite account, or sets up an automation for a client, the handling of that client’s data is governed by our written services agreement with that client, not by this policy.

2.What we collect

We collect as little as the Site needs to work and to let you reach us. There are three sources.

Information you send us

If you use the contact form, we receive what you type into it: your name, email address, the service you are interested in, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. If you later become a client, we may collect additional details needed to deliver the work, such as a phone number, business name, and billing information.

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, the Site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs. Those logs can include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you request, and the time of each request. We use this information only for security, troubleshooting, and keeping the Site online. We do not combine it with anything that identifies you by name.

What we deliberately do not collect

• No analytics or advertising trackers. The Site does not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tracking script.
• No tracking cookies. The Site does not set cookies and does not track you. It uses your browser's own storage for two conveniences only: remembering whether you chose light or dark mode, and keeping your conversation with the JAGS Assistant while that browser tab is open. That information stays on your device, is never sent to us, and the conversation clears when you close the tab.
• Interactive tools stay in your browser. The homepage builder, the automation demo, and the cost calculator run entirely on your device. Nothing you type into them is sent to us. The JAGS Assistant also answers questions on your device, and only sends something to us when you tap Send it to Joe. Then the details you entered, such as your name, email, and project notes, are delivered through Formspree, exactly like the contact form.
• No sensitive categories. We do not ask for, and ask that you do not send, Social Security numbers, payment card numbers, passwords, or health information through the contact form.

3.How we use it

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and answer your questions.
• Prepare a quote or proposal you have asked for.
• Deliver and support services you have hired us for.
• Keep the Site secure and running, and investigate abuse.
• Keep business records we are required or reasonably need to keep.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.

4.Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that make the Site work, and only the information each one needs to do its job. Each of these companies is bound by its own privacy policy and our agreement with it.

Beyond that, we may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect the rights or safety of JAGS Systems or others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to the information transferred.

5.How long we keep it

Contact form submissions and emails are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and for reasonable business recordkeeping. If you become a client, we keep records for the duration of the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider on its standard retention schedule and are not retained separately by us.

If you would like your inquiry deleted sooner, email us and we will remove it unless we have a legal reason to keep it.

6.Your choices and rights

You are in control of what you send us. You can ask us, at any time, to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is inaccurate.
• Delete your information.
• Stop contacting you.

To make a request, email joe@jagssystems.com. We will confirm your identity using the email address on file and respond within 30 days. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of where you live, including the rights provided to residents of California, Texas, and other states with privacy laws. We will never treat you differently for exercising them.

Because the Site does not track visitors, there is nothing to opt out of and “Do Not Track” browser signals do not change how the Site behaves.

7.How we protect it

The Site is served over HTTPS so that anything you send is encrypted in transit. Access to form submissions and email is limited to the owner of JAGS Systems. The Site itself is a static site with no database and no user accounts, which keeps the amount of data that could be exposed very small.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by law.

8.Children

The Site is a business-to-business site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

9.Links to other sites

The Site links to websites we have built for clients and to a few outside services. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for. We encourage you to read their policies.

10.Changes to this policy

If our practices change, we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so plainly here. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
